Warm Weather Is Almost Here And You Need These In Your Closet
Warm weather is almost here, and although the weather is absolute crap and it doesn’t feel like it, it is coming soon. It’s gonna hit us so fast we won’t see it coming (like all weather in canada), so you need to prepare your closet soon (like, now). I usually get stuck trying to make winter clothes work in the warmer weather because I didn't take my summer clothes out. Maybe you're like me or you just have no idea what to wear because you've been layering for the cooler weather. Don't worry, we got you.
Here are some of our spring/summer must haves - keep them on standby.
If it's a little cooler than usual out, all you have to do is wear a longer sleeved shirt underneath. Is it warmer out, wear a short sleeve - you can look stylish and you won't be dying of heat. Sweater underneath? Cute. Tank top? Cute. You can't go wrong with these.
Jean jackets will become your best friend, they're cute, they cover you up, and they won't make you SWEAT. They're even more handy when it's super hot during the day but at night you're suddenly in Antarctica. Pair these babies with literally anything underneath. T-shirt, blouse, light sweater, tank top, dress, etc. If you want to dress up but want to tone it down and make it more casual, then just add a jean jacket.
Long Sleeved Blouses:
The perfect blouse is out there, and it's long sleeved. The best part about these is that you don't need to wear anything on top of them, but you still can if you choose to. Make sure they're light and flowy, that way you can get as much breathing room as you can AND you can add a jean jacket or a light cardigan over it and still be cool.
Pants That Aren't Jeans:
I know that we're extremely comfortable with jeans and anything else may seem uncomfortable or not worth the risk of trying out but what you're missing out on is that they are SO much more comfortable and they look SO much better. They're extremely cool, but more importantly they're extremely stylish.
So, with warm weather around the corner, it's time to start thinking about what we're going to wear so we don't end up stuck in our fall/winter clothes sweating it out.
Let us know what you think in the comments! What are you excited to wear this spring/summer? Should we do a part two?
